House Rules

Free phone calls to land line and mobiles within Australia, all other calls are chargeable
Keep the front gates locked (main and pedestrian gate) whether you are in the house or out as any vandalism on the property during your stay will be your responsibility
Do not use the fireplace as it is for decorative purposes only and not for use.
The space heater is replaced by ducted heating hence the space heater is not functional.
Turn the ducted heating off when you are out of the house
Keep the doors and windows closed when the ducted heating is on
Keep the swimming pool gates closed at all times
Access to the swimming pool is via the side front gate, the back side gate is kept locked
Children under 10 years are not allowed in the pool unless supervised by a person 16 years or older. For children 0-5 years, a parent or guardian has to be in the water at all times with them
No pets are permitted on the property
No smoking is permitted inside the main house or studio. Patio or undercover smoking is available outside the house
Parties / events / gatherings / get-togethers are not permitted on the property
Do not invite other guests into the property unless you have specific prior permission from the host
Keep extra bed linen/pillows/cushions/throws that you are not using in the wardrobe shelves, not on the floor
Outdoor front and back lights need to be turned off when not using the outdoor area (conserve energy)
Turn off the lights if you are not using the rooms and are out of the house
Clean all used / dirty dishes, glasses and put away
Empty all rubbish into the main bins located at the back of the house
Guest are requested to leave the house clean and tidy and put things in its place

The pool is solar heated which means the water is heated through the power of the sun. During the cold months, rainy days or at night the water is no longer heated.
Hot water is 24/7 in all the taps and showers
Ducted heating control is located in the dining area
All the outdoor back and sidelights are controlled by one switch located on the door panel of the 2nd bathroom before the laundry.
All the outdoor front lights are located on the door panel of the front entry door inside the house.
The light to the outdoor patio near the dining table is located near the door
The Air conditioning is in the common area. The air-conditioning unit is located near the front entrance and the remote control for the unit is near the TV
Hair dryer and iron is located in the main bathroom in the wash basin cabinetry
Washing machine and clothes dryer machine are for your use, turn off switches after use.
Kettle and toaster are in the corner cabinet
Ironing board, clothes drying rack, laundry basket and step is located in the laundry
The house bin is located under the kitchen sink
The outdoor bins are located at the back of the house for rubbish and a separate bin for paper and plastic
Cleaning equipment are located in the laundry cupboard’s
Garbage bags, dishwashing liquid, detergent, sponges are under the sink
Table mats, kitchen towels, cutlery and spoons etc are in the drawers
Glasses and wine glasses are in the overhead cabinets
Cooking utensils, plates, bowls etc are in the pot drawers and corner cabinet
Shower gel, shampoo and conditioner in both bathrooms
Tissue box, long life milk, cling wrap in the fridge or pantry,
Coffee, tea, sugar, salt pepper are in the kitchen overhead cabinets
Cooking oil and vinegar are near the stove
